Context

Romania's entrepreneurial community lacked a dedicated editorial space — a place that both informs and educates founders, investors, and business professionals in their own language. Biz District was born from a collaboration between Pelerin and a business partner who shared this vision. The goal: get something real in front of readers, fast.

What We Built

We went from idea to a live, fully operational news portal in three weeks. The platform includes:

• Editorial structure — breaking news, featured stories, categories, and a top-stories feed for different reading patterns
• Multilingual publishing — Romanian and English, with locale-aware routing and per-article language management
• Subscription system — reader accounts with subscriber-only content gating
• Author profiles — named authorship to build editorial credibility
• CMS integration — Pelerin CMS as the content backend, giving editors a clean interface for publishing without touching code
• SEO and structured data — schema markup for articles and the organization, sitemap, RSS feed
• Custom deployment — Dockerised, hosted on managed infrastructure

The three-week timeline was deliberate. Rather than plan exhaustively, we launched a working platform and iterated. The constraint forced clear prioritisation.
